LAUNCHING LATE 2026 · SEDONA, AZ

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can I book a tour now?

Yes — CyberTours is now booking. Choose your tour, date, and time on our booking page and reserve online in a couple of minutes. Your card is authorized when you book and only charged after your tour is complete.

Where do you pick up from?

Anywhere in Sedona: hotels, rentals, Airbnbs, restaurants. We come to you. Staying outside central Sedona? Just ask when you book, there’s a small added travel fee for pickup.

How many people can come?

Up to 4 passengers per tour. The Cybertruck seats 5 including the driver, and we keep one seat free for your guide.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Sedona has stunning weather year-round, but if conditions turn unsafe we’ll reschedule at no charge. You can also cancel up to 24 hours before your tour for a full refund.

How does payment work?

When you book, we authorize your card for the full tour price through Stripe. That’s an authorization hold, not a charge — we only capture the payment after your tour is complete. We accept all major cards. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your tour, the hold is released in full (see our cancellation policy).

Is the Cybertruck good off-road? What about range anxiety?

Very. The Cybertruck’s adaptive air suspension raises clearance several inches on demand, and the tri-motor all-wheel drive can handle Sedona’s red-dirt roads without breaking a sweat. We’re keeping our tours on paved, public roads for now while we finish permitting for backcountry spots like Schnebly Hill and Devil’s Bridge, then bring off-road tours back once that’s done.

Range isn’t a concern either way. Every tour starts fully charged, and none of our routes come close to testing the Cybertruck’s limits. You won’t hear “we need to charge” from us.

What happens if a driver isn't available for my ride time?

For CyberRides, we dispatch your request to available drivers in real time. If no driver can make your window, we’ll email you within minutes and offer three options: an adjusted pickup time, a reschedule, or a full refund.

For CyberTours (guided experiences), availability is planned in advance — if a slot is open when you book, it’s yours.

Can I customize the route?

Not at the moment. We’re running one route right now, The Classic Cyber, a fixed loop through Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Courthouse Butte timed for the best light, so there’s no custom itinerary to build yet.

That changes as more tours come back online, including the fully custom Private Cyber Expedition (vortex sites, geology, sunrise charters, you name it). Ask us what’s currently bookable if you’re not sure.

What should I wear and bring?

Sedona’s elevation (4,500 ft) means the sun hits hard even when it feels mild. Bring: sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a water bottle. We provide bottled water on every tour.

Layers are smart — mornings and evenings in the canyon can be 15–20°F cooler than midday. Comfortable walking shoes for any optional viewpoint hikes. Your phone for photos, or just let the views do the work — we take shots at every stop.

Do you do photography stops?

Every tour is built around photography stops. We know exactly where the light lands at what time of day and schedule departures around it. Your guide takes the shots too, so you’re actually in the photos instead of stuck behind the camera.

The Private Expedition (not currently running) goes further: slower stops, circling back to a formation from a different angle, timing the whole route around golden or blue hour.

Is this accessible for guests with mobility needs?

The Cybertruck itself is easy to get into: wide doors, low step-in height, plenty of legroom. We can accommodate most mobility needs as long as you’re able to transfer into a standard vehicle seat.

Our current tour, The Classic Cyber, keeps every viewpoint reachable from the road, so staying in the truck still gets you the full experience. When the Private Expedition is running again, we can design the whole route around your needs if you tell us in advance.

For wheelchair users or anyone with specific mobility requirements, reach out before booking so we can confirm the right fit.

Can I book a private tour for a proposal or special occasion?

Yes, and it’s one of our favorite requests. The Private Cyber Expedition is built for proposals, anniversaries, birthdays, and milestone moments, though it’s not on the current lineup. For now, The Classic Cyber works well on its own: Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock at golden hour make a strong backdrop without any extra planning.

Tell us the occasion when you book and we’ll build the timing and photo stops around it.

Is this good for kids?

Kids love the Cybertruck. Our current tour, The Classic Cyber, is an easy one for families since every viewpoint is right off the road or a short walk away.

Minimum age depends on the tour. Most require kids to be at least 2, and a few of our more rugged routes (not running right now, but coming back later) bump that to 5. Every child needs an adult with them.

We provide car seats for ages 2 to 4, just tell us the kids’ ages when you book and we’ll handle it. Bring snacks and a spare layer too, canyon temperatures drop fast once you’re in the shade.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 24 hours before your tour and you’ll receive a full refund, no questions asked.

Cancellations within 24 hours of your tour are non-refundable, but we’re happy to reschedule for another date at no charge if you contact us before your pickup time.

If we ever need to cancel on our end — weather, vehicle issue, driver unavailability — you’ll receive a full refund immediately plus first access to rebook at our next available slot.

Do you partner with local hotels?

We pick up from any hotel, rental, or Airbnb in Sedona, no extra charge. Staying outside central Sedona? There’s a small travel fee, just let us know when you book.

We’re building a formal partner program with Sedona hotels for embedded booking. If you manage a property and want to offer CyberTours to your guests, reach out to hello@cybertours.net.
